JSR FL5/DE5 Clutch Damper Delete Kit

This kit provides the same outcome as our paired FK8 Modified Clutch Master and Modified Slave Cylinder combo at almost half the price. The FL5 and DE5 both share the same external damper mounted under the battery tray. Simply loosen both 10mm fittings and remove the damper and install the included hardline adapter. Also included is our Famous FL5/DE5 modified slave cylinder (As seen on our track record setting FL5). Product description listed below.

Our Damper delete provides Increased fluid delivery to the slave cylinder, Increased fluid delivery from the piston/cylinder to the outlet which leads to the slave cylinder. This will de-crease (Soften) the pedal pressure by about 15% with a night and day outcome.

Some of our clients complained about lock out, not being able to shift quickly and this has by far resolved the issues in conjunction with our Modified Slave Cylinder.

Please be prepared for an older B&K Series pedal feel and clutch engagement. Hill assist is not affected and continues to work. If you are on an aftermarket clutch with a puck disc there will be a substantial increase in chatter during clutch engagement.

JSR Modified Clutch Slave Cylinder Description:
First, we start off with a new genuine Honda­ clutch slave cylinder and tear it down to remove the internal CDV. What's a CDV you ask? A "Clutch Delay Valve" is a plastic delay valve inserted in the cylinder galley of the clutch system and it's intent is to slow down the engagement or disengagement of the clutch fluid. The purpose is to slowly engage the clutch to the drive train without introducing shock to the internal clutch components, transmission, or cv axles.

When driving spirited we tend to power shift or shift faster than the CDV can handle, this causes gear lockout or slight grind in gears. With these modified slaves we have aided and improved these issues bringing back the old B-Series and K-Series swift clutch pedal travel and feel.
